I walked in this morning. She was crying because the boss went out of town and sent an e-mail to the factory that he would take care of something (simple) when he got back. She was insulted because we could have taken care of it and he didn't ask us - so she cried.
Then - she had a little coniption fit over the elections
Then she had a fit over the office "politics" here in our tiny office of 4 people.
Then she had a screaming fit because the bosses decorator charged him by the hour for calling the police and alarm company when his house was broken into, but that was during the hurricane and she and her mother were staying at her house and she should have done it for free, but was selfish and taking advantage.
Then the exterminator came - that put her over the edge.
It's not even lunch time!!!  |

You know, we were talking about giving my boss a special pager with a tazer attached. The theory is that if he gets paged three times from the same number within half an hour and doesn't respond, he gets a shock.
I may end up handing the problem over to the RC department of the hobby shop my boyfriend works at...

You can't kill someone with a stun gun, Wormie.
Not unless you accidentally stun them fifty or so times in a row, just by accident, and we couldn't imagine how that would happen.

No! I live here, I work here, I pay taxes. There is no difference between you and me - why can't I vote?
(me) - only citizens can vote, but you're not being prevented from becoming a citizen.
NO! Thats not the point. Logically there is no difference. I should be able to vote.

No...logically you are allowed to vote in the country you came from. Why not become a citizen? Or did they kick her out of the test for crying at every question? |

I told her that she was a Hungarian citizen and that she could vote in Hungary. If she wants to vote here, she needed to become a citizen. She doesn't want to become a citizen - she just wants the right to vote - and this, somehow, is logical.  |

If I borrow it, you may never get it back. After I vote tonight, I may need to hop over to Target and see if I can buy my own! At that price, maybe I should buy 5 - then I can call it my work uniform. |
