1/5 cut

Ok, I have no clue about this, but I am sure someone out here will know.

What does it mean when you are reviewing hanging folders and they say that it's letter sized 1/5 cut?

Any one willing to try explaining this one to me?

I appreciate it very much.

Re 1/5 cut

Geez Kim, you scare me. I thought you were having a big RIF there or something.

I believe it means a folder that is 9 x 11 and has a tab. If there are 5 folders in the set, they are tabbed so that the tab sticks up at a different spot (so you can read what's on the tab) for each one.

But I could be wrong.
