Pepsi Sues Coke

Yeah, so it's a man bites dog story. But there's an Amish twist:

Re Pepsi Sues Coke

That's kinda funny. Somehow, though, I think Pepsi is going to get thrown out of court.

That's it. I'm not voting for Pepsi in the Pepsi Challenge ever again.

I dunno. McDonald's sued Burger King 15-20 years ago on a similar type of thing (forgot the details) and won. BK had to pull the ads and the child actress in them couldn't eat at McDonald's much like Jared the Subway guy can't eat at other fast food places. This actress: Sara Michelle Gellar, the slayer herself.

But Ive been in businesses where we've had outside counsel write the competitor and suggest they stop advertising a claim or face an action. Can't give 'em an inch, you guys know that.

Your old music cannot sustain you through a life, not if you're someone who listens to music every day, at every opportunity. You need input, because pop music is about freshness, about Nelly Furtado and the maddeningly memorable fourth track on a first album by a band you saw on a late-night TV show. And no, that fourth track is not as good as anything on Pet Sounds or Blonde on Blonde or What's Going On, but when was the last time you played Pet Sounds? - Songbook by Nick Hornby

A calorie is a unit of energy. A drink with 50 calories would give an athlete more units of energy than one containing 10 calories.

I think the athlete taking the 50 calorie drink might win (this would assume similar sizes and fitness levels.)

Calories are stored as fat.

The person who consumes more calories (assuming similar rates of burning those calories off) will be heavier and (possibly) slower.

An argument can be made either way.

Re Pepsi Sues Coke

I thought the idea of an energy drink was to give the athlete energy on the spot, not extra energy to store.

Re Pepsi Sues Coke

I doubt they'd make much money if only athletes bought these drinks.
