So I'm checking job sites for the hubby, and swing by CareerBuilder.com. It's been slowly going downhill for weeks now, having more and more "online jobs" available. Today completely tears it - after typing in our city and hitting Search, 2 of the 44 jobs on the first page are for mystery shoppers. The other 42, yes, ALL OF THEM, are for online work at home idiocy. And the next 7 on the second page.

Yeah, unfortunately, the alerts that come are still mostly clogged with this nonsense, since DH is looking in the Admin/Clerical area, which is prime real estate for this stuff.
Yeah, it really is. One of them (it may be Careerbuilder, it may be Hotjobs) just changed the searchable option so that you can allow only direct employers to search your resume. Tell him to double check and see if that setting is there.
Also, I don't know if there is a Craig's List community near you, but they are turning into a HOTBED of jobs. They used to be really low-end guys, but legit companies are advertising there now.
