This one is bizarre. We are all familiar with knock-off products that are sold at much cheaper prices than the original. These items are generally produced in hidden sweatshops and other backalley operations.

Dig this. Some enterprising souls set up 18 factories in China and pretended to be electronics giant NEC. 18 factories. That takes Chutzpah.

I would have said guts. How old fashioned is that. I also thought balls.

My first thought was balls. Went with the other choice because I was trying to behave. You gotta give me points for trying now, don't you?

Oh - sorry, Amy!
The topic - right.
Ok - this is rather wacky sounding and rather bold.
Isn't it like knockoff handbags but on a different scale? I go to Bangkok and buy "designer" bags with the authenticity labels and all for $20. Someone is making them and calling them Gucci, Channel, etc etc. This seems like the same thing with a tad more Chutzpah.

It's colloquial Spanish. For bollocks.

The Arabic slang term for testicles is also eggs. I won't try to spell it though

In Lebanese it's "baydah." I don't know if it's the same word you're thinking of, though, because I'm not up on the slang.

So, can we sing the national anthem in all these languages?

And no, that fourth track is not as good as anything on Pet Sounds or Blonde on Blonde or What's Going On, but when was the last time you played Pet Sounds? - Songbook by Nick Hornby

I think in Hebrew it is "baytsah". Is that right Cindy? Very close to the Lebanese.

Re Identity Theft at a WHOLE New Level

You know, I know all sorts of curses in Polish but I have no idea what they call cajones. I'll have G ask his Polish bud at work today.

The one who they pronounced his name WRONG intil G came home one day and was talking about him. I informed him that there WAS no such phoneme in Polish and he needed to spell it. I corrected him. He went back to work and said, "Hey [insert wrong pronunciation here], my wife said we are pronouncing your name wrong and it should be [wife is right pronunciation here]."

Poor guy said "Yeah. I just didn't want to correct you all."
