Wish me luck.

Monday, 8/21 I start my new position.

It's going to be a huge change, but I am definitely in need of a switch.

This past week of being off, I have noticed that I am not having so many stomach pains, hearburn and stiffness in my neck.

That's a good sign already!

Re Wish me luck.

Good luck, Kim!

You know, my hubby was unemployed several times, and had spent 19 years in the credit card industry.

He always shunned Citibank, because Citibank's reputation as an employer was "they chew you up and spit you out..."

I'm glad you got out on your own terms....

How did your first day go?

Your old music cannot sustain you through a life, not if you're someone who listens to music every day, at every opportunity. You need input, because pop music is about freshness, about Nelly Furtado and the maddeningly memorable fourth track on a first album by a band you saw on a late-night TV show. And no, that fourth track is not as good as anything on Pet Sounds or Blonde on Blonde or What's Going On, but when was the last time you played Pet Sounds? - Songbook by Nick Hornby

Re Wish me luck.

Thanks! I did need a change of pace.

Now, I am looking to redo a lot of my life, if you will.

This place has exercise equipment on premise free to use, I am going to try to start something there to get in better shape to chase down a VERY active 3 year old!

Boy, kind of seeming like I am having a mid-life crisis huh?

Job change, looking to do more exercise...what's next?

Re Wish me luck.

Yay Kim, that sounds great!

Start the exercise program while you're still on the "new job high", form a habit, and you can stick with it better when reality sets in.

Re Wish me luck.

You know, when I quit insurance adjusting last year, a lot of my health problems disappeared. I thought I had an ulcer. Whatever it was, it went away after I quit. I was an insomniac. Now, I pretty much sleep like a baby, with only a night here and there without sleep. My body isn't as stiff, either.

On top of that, now I go to the gym every other day and work out. I feel better, I've lost weight, and things are good.

Enjoy the change in your life.
