Do all the job boards attract spammers?

I still get spammed from back when I was looking for a job over a year ago. The spammers have my email address now, and I get offered jobs I'm totally unqualified for (which is a total give away that it's not legit.)

There's also the fact that they all start off with:

Dear Margaret , regarding....

The space after my name always gives it away.

Are all the job boards filled with people/bots/whatever that collect your name, field, and email address to send you spam?

Are any job boards better than others?

I've gotten what at first sound like personalized letters, mentioning something from my reume. However, the jobs being offered are so truly bizarre and not related to any of my skills that I think they musth also be bots. For example, I got an offer to work a Coldfusion help desk. Since I told Gary about it making a joke about falsified research and no such thing as cold fusion, it's obvious I don't know enough about software development and aps to even use a help desk much less work on one.

I'm highly qualified to be an editor of a magazine... from whatever the bots glean from my resume... I feel so special, that I am so qualified that they will reward me with a phishing scam!
