| | I mentioned this several months ago after I leased out and then sold the restaurant. Now I'm finally finished with my latest project. I've built a commercial kitchen in my metal building behind my house. It is primarily a catering facility, but I'm pushing a few sandwiches out of it during lunch on days I'm not catering. Today is the third day I've opened it to the public. It's about a forty feet commute to work.
PICS from start to fiish are here: The BBQ Corner Catering Kitchen |

| | Woo hoo...that's a lot of work!!! (I'll look at the pics when I get to the office - dial up SUCKS).
Saw you in here the other day and wondered what you'd been up to. Glad to hear you're still in the "food" business - let's cater an EA party at Slick's place!!!!

| | Wow! What a transformation. It looks fabulous. And, I'm sure it'll be a tremendous success.
My condolences to Tracy for losing her sound stage.

| | Okay, got to go through them. Looks like a souped up version of Dan's Man Cave that he's been building in our metal shed...'cept he's not nearly as far along as you are He has a cooler ceiling, but yours is overall more functional (although his will allow me to move all of his "junk" out of the house.....)
So what is the privy looking thing in the outdoor eating area?
And I've never seen a septic system being installed before, that's pretty interesting.
Very nice...I think it does look like just the place to hold a party!!!

| | Thanks! It's been a lot of work and time, but it's been a great selling point for our catering biz. Folks that care enough to look just love walking into an almost unused kitchen. The sandwich thing is mostly a storefront so folks can try out my BBQ Quote: lynnzop said

Very nice...I think it does look like just the place to hold a party!!! | The outhouse thing is actually covering up my ugly black smoker. Did you say party? We've already broken it in. A couple of times. Quote: |

| | Two questions:
1. What are your hours and days of operation?
2. How far from Dallas are you again?

| | Yay Slick!
That's amazing! Looks like quite the building project, but the finished kitchen looks fabulous and how great must it be to cross the yard and work at something you enjoy!
Congratulations!! |

Congrats on another great idea and concept. You really took the "work at home" thing seriously. I hope it's fun and profitable.

| | Good luck with your new facility. Sorry you have to walk so far to go to work, lol.
I'll be making up a 2/3 batch of your barbeque sauce this weekend, to have ready for the pulled pork to be served at Jeremy's rehearsal dinner in two weeks.
