America's Army

Does anybody else play it? If not and your wondering what it is it is a game designed by the US army that includes army training and online missions. The game is completely free and has awsome graphics. The game is based on real-life training and is extremly realistic about the surrounding enviroment and other characters. Probably the only thing I don't like about the game is the lack of a single player mode, You are either training or playing online, which gets boreing after a while. If you want to try the game you can download it from one of the mirror sites posted here: www.americasarmy.com

The boy-child is correct. It's actually a very fun and educational game.

Re: America's Army

I got sucked into this for about 2 months last year. Clans, tracking stats on official servers, permanent stats. Man, did I lose some serious time there.

Your old music cannot sustain you through a life, not if you're someone who listens to music every day, at every opportunity. You need input, because pop music is about freshness, about Nelly Furtado and the maddeningly memorable fourth track on a first album by a band you saw on a late-night TV show. And no, that fourth track is not as good as anything on Pet Sounds or Blonde on Blonde or What's Going On, but when was the last time you played Pet Sounds? - Songbook by Nick Hornby

Re: America's Army

There is a new, even more realstic version with Unreal engine which enables the "rag-doll" effect which means, depending on where or with what you get shot determains how you fall down and lay there. The weapons and levels are also more realistic and detailed.

Re: America's Army

That would be cool. You know, I've been reading that this is one of the best recruiting efforts that the Army has ever had. People go through medical training or whatever on the screen, and they're thinking This is kind of cool.

Of course, it's not all like that, but I did like playing with active soldiers. They would use the hand signals, understand how to take and hold objectives and so forth. We better stop talking about this. I'm getting ready to download the new one if this keeps up!
