Perseid meteor showers tonite!!

Meteor shower at it's peak tonite.

I'm in a prime location, being out in the sticks and all, but it's cloudy now and probably will stay that way over night.

Seeing a "shooting star" is neat - especially a "shower" like this one. Let the little ones stay up late (or get up early) for a treat!!!

It is supposed to pour rain here and the rest of the week. There goes the show.

Same here - small chance of actual rain, but lots and lots of clouds.

We seem to be in the thrust of something--there is a huge thunderstom alert for all the area around me. I hear rumbling, and it is horribly humid. According to the forcast we might have rain from the hurricanes all weekend.

I like to watch the meteor showers. I will miss this one this year.

In my entire life I've only seen one shooting star. And there is a hurricane coming here, so I doubt that will change tonight - and I'm leaving town tomorrow, and this hurricane best not mess with my plans!!!!!

Well, we got home from a meeting late, and the sky was clear! I went outside just before going to bed and instantly saw one ...didn't see any more, so I set my alarm for 4:15 a.m.

Woke up on my own at 4:00 a.m. Put on robe (I COULD SEE MY BREATH LAST NIGHT) and went out on the deck. Got wet from sprinkles falling from sky - too many clouds, no meteor shower!!!

There are still a number of days left, so I'll try it again. Shooting stars are so cool to see!!!!!
