Heya Amy, have been checking out the new one, pretty neat. Loaded with features and excited aboutt he whole "plugin" idea.. what do you think?

You gonna upgrade as soon as it comes out? i'm prob gonna wait till fall, let bigs gert worked out, and prob gonna go with a brandnew SQL DB, as the current one i'm using has been hacked to death LOL...

yea, I am guessing that al the addons/mods ect.. will have to be recoded to fit the new version correct?

Yep. And it's going to be a bit of a learning curve as well. I'm rather irked that Jelsoft is throwing so much javascript into this new version. I think our Mac users are going to suffer.

Yea, it is loaded..and we all know java can be crap if not done properly..wonder if they will incorp an option into to possible disable some of the java features for those who dont want it?

Dunno. I hope that their script degrades well for all browsers is all I can say. I really don't want to spend my life rewriting code for other operating systems.

Good point... I'm sure your not the alone on that one LOL

while I have you here... have transported my share of SQL db's from install to install, but i'd like to have a fresh one with this install.. anyway one could ONLY take the posts/forums out of a Database? or is it pretty much all or nothing?

Sooner, just write a query to pull the data you want. Should be easy-peasy. If you don't have it, SQLyog is a good one for dinking around.
