| | So, is anybody going Chrome? | | I presume the geeks have heard about Chrome already. For those of you who haven't, it's Google's newest offering - a browser of their own. I've heard lots of good things about it, but also some negatives. Biggest negatives have been the lack of third party add-ons so far (I don't use a lot, but I don't want to lose the functionality of the ones I do use in FF) and the fact of, come on, do we really need to turn over more of our computing to Google?!
So, what do our resident techy people think? Is it worth trying?

| | Re So, is anybody going Chrome? | | I downloaded it this morning at started poking around. The feature that appeals to me the most is the fact that each tab operates as an independent process. Which means that if only one tab gets hung up, you can cancel that process only without having to force your entire browser to quit. That's an issue I've been having repeatedly lately, and a huge PITA.
Of course, Amy now has a new project. EA doesn't render properly in Chrome.

| | Re So, is anybody going Chrome? | | That's the thing that appeals to me most, as well, Sara. FF doesn't crash on me much, but I would love to have the separate function tabs for the occasional time that it does.
Yeah, that was another complaint I saw - now we gotta code for this browser, too?!

| | Re So, is anybody going Chrome? | | I was going to ask this, Melanie~
Seems we ought to be test driving it just to see...nothing like some experience.

| | Re So, is anybody going Chrome? | | Which style are you using Sara? It renders ok in Safari, which should be pretty close to Chrome.
