Yahoo! help?

Ok, all of you cool computer people stop laughing at me! I have Yahoo! messenger installed because a couple of friends don't have ICQ. and I really like these friends. And, I miss them terribly - because all of a sudden, Yahoo! gives me a pop-up box saying "Please click on 'try again' after checking your ID and password".


I have been trying to use this for over a week, and I can't figure out what the problem is. I even finally agreed to install the updated version- but it didn't work - because I can't log in.


What should I do?

I had that problem a month ago. I never did get it to work, and Yahoo never answered my inquiry.

I bet your password got reset. Go to Yahoo and try logging in there. If it doesn't work, get a password reminder mail and see what it says your password it. I bet it doesn't agree with what you're typing. If you can log in to Yahoo, then I'm not sure what your problem is. Worse come to worse you can always try registering a new user name.
