And in Racine, Wisconsin...

Isac Aguero made it a Bud Light on Saturday night. His employer thought it should have been Miller Time.

The 24-year-old from Racine said he was fired Monday, the same day a picture appeared in The Journal Times showing him holding a bottle of Bud Light. The picture was taken Saturday night, while Aguero was out in Downtown Racine during Mardi Crawl, and appeared as part of the JT's weekly "On the Town" feature depicting area nightlife.

The problem: Aguero was a forklift operator for CJW Inc., the area's supplier of Miller Brewing Co. products.

Wasn't there an actress who appeared in one of those "Beef, it's what for dinner" commercials but who was quickly dropped when she told a magazine she was a vegetarian?

Maybe next they’ll start firing people for not consuming alcohol.

When I worked for GM, if we drove a competitor's car then we had to park in a back parking lot and walk A LONG WAY IN GOOD WEATHER AND BAD to get into the building. They didn't fire you but you never received raises and promotions. Usually one of the mid management bosses would also bring you into their office for off the record conversations about why you didn't get the promotions....sort of like "You make Pontiacs so Pontiac drivers receive raises. What did you say your drive?"

As a general rule, the better it felt when you said it, the more trouble it's going to get you into.

Dad worked for Chevy. Always bought American, but never a GM car until he finally decided to get a Chevy... and later that year he was laid off. Go figger.
