Re I知 all for teaching chemistry in school but | | I didn't need my chemistry teacher to figure out how to make a bomb when I was in high school (and I didn't have the internet either). Who needs black powder when household ingredients work just fine?
I liked my chemistry teacher a lot though--he had us doing things like playing golf in the hallway (charting trajectories). We had a few explosions in class, usually not intentional, but I will never forget Casey Severns getting his eyebrows singed off because he was too close when Mr. Mullins tossed potassium into water.
