Re I知 all for teaching chemistry in school but

This guy is about as bright as the chap here locally who filmed his elementary school students licking and sucking on round lollypops, as part of some kind of project about advertising. I think just the girls got filmed. He'll never work again.

Pieski guided investigators to an unlocked metal cabinet in the back of a classroom, where there was "a can of black powder stored next to other chemicals," the sheriff's office said.
Unlocked cabinet?

The most excitement my science class got was when I demonstrated the prinicple of equal and opposite reaction by firing corks out of bottles which were on rollers (outdoors) using vinegar and baking soda as a propellant.

Re I知 all for teaching chemistry in school but

I didn't need my chemistry teacher to figure out how to make a bomb when I was in high school (and I didn't have the internet either). Who needs black powder when household ingredients work just fine?

I liked my chemistry teacher a lot though--he had us doing things like playing golf in the hallway (charting trajectories). We had a few explosions in class, usually not intentional, but I will never forget Casey Severns getting his eyebrows singed off because he was too close when Mr. Mullins tossed potassium into water.

Hmm.

Now I can't figure out if I'm glad or scared that Naomi's already in the military...
