Sr. High I skipped so many gym classes they almost wouldn't let me graduate. I hated gym enough that I'd have paid $2 a class to get a pass. Gladly!!!

Homeschool science lesson first, civics lesson (who to call for alligators) second. I'd watch from the house as long as I felt safe. OTOH, we don't get alligators in MD, although there was the occasional gator when I lived in NC.

I realize it's not reasonable to expect the hunters in Florida to be any brighter than the general population, but this one is above and beyond the call of duty even for down there:

"I'm not dead yet!"

Hunter shoots duck. Hunter places duck in fridge. Hunter's wife has the scare of a lifetime when confronted by an angry and very cold duck two days later.

So hunter shoots duck, planning to kill it. Duck isn't dead. So of course, logically, we take the duck to the vet.

Why didn't the hunter just finish the job he intended to do in the first place?
