Okay, I feel really bad for this woman. But who in their right MIND would go to someone's HOUSE - their BASEMENT to boot! - for a procedure like lipo?!

the first thing I did was check for Florida.
People go to garages for podiatry, and basements for dentistry, and let roving "gynocologists" perform door to door breast exams, so why should this be any different.
I didn't read it - please tell me it didn't involve a vacuum cleaner!

can't find any stories to tell what they were using to do the lipo, but it seems they were doing a lot of surgeries in their basement.

Once you're issued a medical license by the state, it's up to you what you do with it. You are free to perform neurosurgery in your kitchen if you so choose. You are, however, unlikely to get insurance and your kitchen is equally unlikely to pass a state inspection as an outpatient surgery center.

There's a lot of very shady stuff going on out there - mainly about money. As they say in medical schools: the A students become the next generation of faculty and the C students become millionaires. It's the B students that make good doctors.

Didn't it say they have no license *here*? But it doesn't say whether they have medical training from anywhere else, so I don't know what to think.
