Funny--on this note--a parent called me during the year last year and wanted to know if her child would be making honors, because their spring vacation plans depended on whether or not the child made honors. If she did, then they would stay longer on their spring holiday. If not, it was only a long weekend.
Sadly, I didn't give any information. No honors, but they still stayed the longer time.
