| | I think Brian just experienced political rapture | | Keith Olberman just cut into programming to report that 8 years ago the McCain folks stepped in to protect McCain from himself in what appears to be an "un-forward" relationship w/ a lobbyist. I will let Brian post about it, but he had more than a hearty laugh.
I myself was wondering if it was April Fools Day.
This is too much! |

This whole “presumptive nominee” thing must be serious, because the New York Times just dumped a million-word “investigative report” on how John McCain is the sleaziest sack of scum since, uh, all the other Republicans who already dropped out of the race.
| Agree or disagree - that's some mighty fine writing! |

| | Re I think Brian just experienced political rapture | | Well, considering that Huckabee is in bed with a televangelist under investigation for all sorts of dirty deals, I'm thinking he's more likely hiding under his duvet hoping he's not next in line. |

| | Re I think Brian just experienced political rapture | | I forget where I ran across this one, but the figures stuck in my mind: Mr. Independent has 59 lobbyists on his campaign; Ms. Corporate Shill has 19.
