I would think both people involved have some issues, mental or physical or both-because the average person wouldn't let someone sit on the toilet for two years before getting help. Hopefully now, they both get the help they need

Her skin had grown around the toilet seat. That has to mean months of not even shifting enough to break contact between butt and seat.

Doesn't have to mean months. Bedsores can actually develop in a matter of hours. Especially if there were wetness or, um, bacteria trapped between the skin and the surface. And from bedsores it probably doesn't take long until your skin is "stuck" to the surface.
Ugh. That poor woman. Abused as a child, then left with emotional problems, and now she'll be a punch line. |
