Kids plot to harm teacher

Kids- 8, 9 and 10 year olds - came up with an elaborate plan to harm their teacher. They intended to use paperweights to knock her out, duct tape her mouth and then stab her with a steak knife, and they had all items they needed in a backpack. Holy crap!

Re Kids plot to harm teacher

Isn't that just sad? Wonder what they would do to a classmate that did not fit in their "click".

Re Messed. Up. And so young

Very scary. But for a special ed class, they were remarkably organized and resourceful and able to plan very well.

Re Kids plot to harm teacher

An armed society is a more polite society, which is why I advocate arming the students and teachers in school to prevent this type of behavior.

Re Kids plot to harm teacher

Ugh. This from 3rd grade. Imagine what my 7th graders could come up with.

Re Kids plot to harm teacher

This must make it even tougher to be a teacher, which was already difficult. On the one hand you want to teach them problem solving and cooperation, but on the other hand you have to wonder if they'll use that against you.

Please, for your own sake, do not teach them about the Inquisition.

Re Kids plot to harm teacher

I generally give teachers the benefit of the doubt, from my experience in classrooms. And I know a lot of teachers.

However, there is the occasional winner. My 5th grade math teacher told my parents I was trying to kill her. She was a bit out there.
