Postage going up again.

Arg. Another penny in May.

Buy your "forever" stamps now....I wish I could get hubby to go electronic with his bill paying, but there are other things (show applications, horse registrations) that have to go snail mail.

I only found out because the postmaster said something to me (gotta love small towns!) on Friday when I stopped in...so I bought a couple of extra books.

I stopped buying postage a while ago. I just put some money on someone's desk at work, and all my stuff goes out with the work mail. Much easier that way.

I pay most of my bills by phone, so I rarely use postage stamps... which may be why it keeps going up-so many of us use so much less.

Now, my local paper has decided to start mailing the TV guides to us-rather than having them delivered with the paper. They apparently couldn't do what the Denver post did-have you opt in or out-so they're mailing it...

at a cost of .58 and a giant envelope to get it. I pay, for friday-monday delivery $3.67 a month. You'd think with enough of these idiots buying postage the post office would be happy and quit raising the cost for a bit!

My paper stopped the weekly TV section altogether a couple years ago. The show listings are on line now, on their website, and a total PITA to navigate. I used to like browsing the guide to see what I would watch on what night, but now, pleh.

Hubby is the big stamp user in our house. He still pays his bills by mail, and we send cards/checks to his several nieces and nephews and siblings for birthdays and anniversaries.
