| | Gotta say that Marabell tasted as good as she looked. I don't think I've ever eaten chicken as moist as her. The flavor was simply wonderful, too. This is the first time I've cook it and the first time I've eaten it. There will be more in the future. |

Are you talking about 'beer can chicken' in this sense ??
I guess I assume you are. What spices in the beer? Rubs? etc....??

| | I bought a couple of holders to put the birds on, but you can do it with just the beer cans. First, drink half the beer. The more chickens you have the more fun it will be cooking them. Wash and dry bird. Rub with your favorite barbebcue rub and place the bottom of the chicken over the 1/2 can of beer. (I poured some rub into the beer.) Have your grill preheated to medium and place the birds on the opposite side as the fire. Wood chips are great to use. Cook 2 hours and let rest 5-10 minutes before removing and carving.

Believe it or not, I saw a recipe for this in a Weight Watchers magazine. It sounded wonderful but now I have it from the horse's patoot.
Or the pig's poke. Whatever you prefer. I will have to try this.

| | When we visited our friends in Shreveport they barbequed "drunken" chicken. It was wonderful.
Up here in Arkansas there are so many "dry" counties that the concept of drunken chicken isn't familiar to most people. |
