| | A button, a button... my kindom for -- oh you get the idea | | So the top button on my wool overcoat finally fell off after years of abuse and neglect. Unfortunately, it was brash enough to wait until I was no longer paying attention and so have no idea where it has fallen. How do I go about fixing the missing button on my coat? If the coat came with extra buttons, I have no idea where they went. Where do you go to get replacement buttons?
thanks,
J |

Well, most supermarkets carry some buttons. A craft store will sell buttons. A fabric store will sell buttons. Are you still in Israel or are you back in the States? City of suburbs? Buttons are easy to find. If you were in Florida, I'd go into my button box for you.
This will be an easy problem to fix. |

Sew your button back on with fishing line if you can. It will stay on forever. Buy buttons at a sewing store, or sometimes there is an extra one hidden along the hem of a coat or shirt. |

A button will cost you $78 but it comes with a really nice brand new cashmere blend overcoat and a few spare buttons.

Or maybe not.
