Neat - make your own soda or seltzer at home!

Hey, this looks like a lot of fun!

Make soda, seltzer, energy drinks in your own home. And if you're going for "cute" they've even got one shaped like a penguin.

They had these when I was 13. My friends family had one. It's sort of fun, but the novelty wears off. It's good if you want soda that is less sweet or had no caffien.

Re Neat - make your own soda or seltzer at home!

Dad made root beer in the basement when I was a kid. He used yeast to get the carbonation (in each individual bottle, so you had to pour it from the bottle into the glass and be careful....pour too much and )...sometimes the soda would over carbonate and the bottles would explode.

To this day, I do NOT like root beer.

That sounds even worse than my grandfather's rotgut basement wine.

Uh, he made wine in my bedroom. It gurgled at me.

My dad's had some strange hobbies in his day. We had a mushroom farm in the basement at one point too. I would NOT eat them.
