| | Re The Great Holiday Cookie Recipe Swap!!! | | I'll be happy to re-post the gluten free peanut butter cookie recipe, but I don't think I'll do the swap this time. I might try something I see posted, though, if there are some really easy ones!

| | Re The Great Holiday Cookie Recipe Swap!!! | | Okey dokey. Here's what we'll do.
I'll assign people, and we'll do the swap thing like we did for Thanksgiving.
We'll all post our recipes here so they are available to anyone who would like to try. Then if anyone isn't officially participating, but would like to share a recipe, they can post here too.
You must (eventually) critique the recipe that you're assigned to but you can try as many recipes as you like, and share your notes. |

| | Re The Great Holiday Cookie Recipe Swap!!! | | I thought I signed up for this last week - if not, count me in! But I didn't do the Thanksgiving one, so don't know how it works.

| | Re The Great Holiday Cookie Recipe Swap!!! | | Do they have to be cookies? I have a recipe for a fabulous puddingy-cakey thing, but you need a fork to eat it. Off limits?

| | Re The Great Holiday Cookie Recipe Swap!!! | | If you did sign in PL, I'm sorry. You're in now.
We were doing cookies to be easy, but if the rest of the folks don't care, I say rules are to be bent. Besides - I know you're a great cook, so whatever you want to share I'm sure will be Yummy!!!
Tomorrow I'll post match ups. You'll be assigned to somebody. Somebody else will be assigned to you. Everyone makes the recipe that they're assigned and then shares if they like it, was it easy or hard, etc etc etc. |

| | Re The Great Holiday Cookie Recipe Swap!!! | | Oops, I forgot to post my requirements! I can't use any recipes containing nut butter. I can simply leave nuts out as long as they don't form the bulk of the recipe.
Pippa, gluten-free? What about eggs? Dairy?

| | Re The Great Holiday Cookie Recipe Swap!!! | | Mmm, no-bake cookies that taste like candy- my grandma used to make that. Does anyone know what that might be? And if we can do candies, then I have an amazing truffle recipe!

| | Re The Great Holiday Cookie Recipe Swap!!! | | We're not strict with rules around here.
I was going to suggest anything that is dessert like and that you can eat with your fingers. Ya'll can do what you want.
Pippa - MJs potato candy would probably work for your kids if you leave out the nuts. I used potato buds instead of real mashed potatoes. maybe thats why they didn't work for me. |
