| | A Crafty Way to Stay Warmer This Winter | | I usually put towels on the floor in front of the doors, but this is ever so much better: Juggling Frogs: It's time to abolish the draft. (Creating a draft dodger.)

| | Re A Crafty Way to Stay Warmer This Winter | | what a clever idea! It looks good, and probably works well!
I would do this on Scooter's room - need to keep him from sticking his paws under the door, but there are no nails on the bottom of the door. How could I make this work if it's a wooden door with no "flashing"? |

| | Re A Crafty Way to Stay Warmer This Winter | | Grandma's house had draft doggies like these:
Deluxe ones are double and have a strip of cloth that goes under the door, so when you leave and close the door the draft doggy stays with the door. Eliminates the kick-with-the-foot thing too.
Me, I did this:

| | Re A Crafty Way to Stay Warmer This Winter | | I thought of making one like that with a cat. doing a 2 sided one would solve my problem! My sewing machine is packed, but I can make a 2 sided one with Amy's tube method!!! Thanks! |

| | Re A Crafty Way to Stay Warmer This Winter | | I liked the tuna can lid idea, but I still think they are too sharpf for little ones. I may try using circles.. if I use the Tupperware opening, the edges are safe for little ones. |

| | Re A Crafty Way to Stay Warmer This Winter | | I may have to try this. I have two metal exterior doors. For the wooden door, I'm sure I'll think of something. Wouldn't a few big old-fashioned thumbtacks work for the magnets to stick to? Those would hammer into a wooden door easily, and four would probably do the trick.

| | Re A Crafty Way to Stay Warmer This Winter | | is it nice for inside doors, and where do I buy one?
Will it damage the door when removed?
I need something for the Fortress of Scootitude. |

| | Re A Crafty Way to Stay Warmer This Winter | | It's adhesive - peel off the backing and press on. It shouldn't do much damage to the door when removed (take off paint maybe), but you'd only remove it if you wanted to replace it with another one. It's nice enough for inside doors - we got plastic/vinyl for our apartment doors and it comes in basic neutral colors. It's only a couple dollars and it's at Home Depot. and check out the adhesive foam weatherstripping to keep cold air from coming in around the top and side(s) of the door, and from around windows.
