| | Yummy Cookie | | Brian and I made these last night for my coworkers. They look pretty and taste YUMMY! Just let them cool completely before you dig in - they're not amazing until they're totally cooled. |

| | I love the peanut butter thumbprint cookies! I've never made them (but I have certainly eaten them) and the batter has peanut butter in it and the thumbprint in the middle has a Hershey's kiss in it!
Yummy!!!! |

| | I wanted to make these this afternoon, but Dan was tied up on the PC and I couldn't find my mom's recipe. She used crushed nuts instead of coconut, and I started really jonesing for them after reading this thread.

I get to test out the mixer I bought myself for Christmas.

We're putting a mixer on our list - and a paddle attachment.
With a mixer, these cookies will be EASY! And they're so yummy! |

| | I just mixed the dough and am waiting for it to chill.
OMG I LOVE my mixer! It took all of about 30 seconds to make the dough. I'm so glad I convinced me to buy it for me.
Meanwhile, Chip announced that he doesn't like coconut. I'm going to make 1/2 a batch without it. Do you think they'll seem like they're missing something?

Hmmmm. I wonder if I can make him believe that they're flakes of white chocolate.
Do you think it'll work?

You can make a few without coconut, but they won't look as pretty or taste as yummy.
Does he like nuts? You might try rolling a few in crushed pecans instead of coconut - but really the coconut is soooo good. And I'm not a big coconut person. |

Oh, and he likes me.

| | I had considered that. But I couldn't bring myself to ruin a cookie that I might otherwise scarf down if it remained uneaten.

| | There is coconut in Entemenn's danish? I always say that! I always try it thinking I will like it (it looks good) and then I go "this tastes like coconut." I seem to never learn.
I hate coconut. Chip can hang out with me. If I made these cookies, there's no way I'd "ruin" them with coconut |

| | YUM coconut!
Did I ever tell you guys about the INSANE coconut cravings I had when I was pg with Buster? I literally took a can of pineapple and DUMPED a bag of coconut on it. Of course, like most things the first 8 weeks or so with him, I promptly hurled after I ate it, but most of that pregancy, things were doused in coconut. Peanut butter and coconut sandwiches? Check. Coconut in cereal? Check. |
