I came home yesterday to a gift. My boyfriend, the most wonderful man in the universe, cleaned my condo from top to bottom. Well, except the bathroom, but hey, who would complain about this. He even ORGANIZED MY LAUNDRY ROOM!!!
So now the major cleaning I had planned for this weekend is basically done. Now I can work on organizing some of the things I haven't had time to organize.
Today, I am starting with Grandma's China. Is it still called China if it was made in Japan? I love it. I had it wrapped up and stored in boxes in my livingroom closet. I bought some proper China storing zippered padded thingies. Today I'm rewashing everything and putting it in the zippered padded thingies and putting them in the cabinets that are empty because I can't reach them. I don't plan on using the China much, but when I do it will be cherished. I still have to wash the cups, and then I will have to put them up in that cabinet, but I feel much better.
Between Kevin's gift, and Gramma's gift, and having NOTHING TO DO THIS WEEKEND (Finally!) I am feeling very gifted. |
