Cooking Podcasts

I've subscribed to a few podcasts before, but never realized just how much variety there was until I stumbled upon the Cooks Illustrated podcast on no-knead bread. I spent most of the day downloading various podcasts on everything from pressure cooking to baclava. I'm thinking this would be a nice thing to have in the kitchen if I set up a player dock. Anyone else try this? What are your favorite podcasts?

Re Cooking Podcasts

I'm not in the habit of watching too many cooking podcasts, but Cook's Illustrated is the one I've gotten the best tips from.

It's not strictly cooking... um... but I enjoy Tiki Bar TV. it was really rough at the beginning, but the production values improved greatly as time went on. The stories didn't improve much, but the drink recipes are great. And it is funny to watch most of the time because you can tell they're sampling their recipes heavily. Erm.

Re Cooking Podcasts

Puts me in mind of the original Galloping Gourmet series from the 70's. Graham Kerr drank way more wine than he ever used in the receipes. (He's a teetotaler now.) As a beginning cook, I certainly learned a lot, though, and I still cup up apples and bell peppers the way I saw him do it on the show.

Cooks Illustrated is the best of the bunch. If you're into Bento, there's one called Bento TV. But, it's pretty cheesy.
