Ok Crafty Types -- Make Me a Leprechaun

I am going to be a Leprechaun this year for the Avon walk.

So far I have green and white striped pants, and a wife-beater with green shamrocks on them. I need to find a way to make it more obvious that I'm a leprecaun, and not just someone in ugly pajamas.

So... any ideas? I'm trying to do this on the smallest budget possible. Have not yet found a hat, or a green jacket, but if I do, those will be great.

I don't sew or knit... so I'm not too sure what I can do.

Any ideas?

I think you need a beard.
A pot of gold might help.

I would prefer to be a girl leprechaun. If I have facial hair I'll be teased. Plus that's the great thing about being an Irish woman, we don't get facial hair. :p

I was thinking of doing the pot of gold and maybe passing out Gelt to the walkers. Providing I can find gelt, and that it's actually cool enough that I could pack the gelt without getting melted chocolate.

Some good ideas there maybe, and did not return too many risque images . . .. ......
