What are you serving tonight?

I made cheese lasagna and salad. We still have pineapple upsidedown cake for desert.

BBQ chicken and (probably) baked potatoes. I'll pick up a loaf of french bread and if I summon up some energy, will make potato salad to serve instead of baked potatoes. Odds aren't good for that. Still contemplating a vegie . . . maybe just some sliced tomatoes if I can find any that look naturally ripe instead of hothouse.

Well, the New York deli (run by real Brooklyn and Queens guys) just opened a few miles away. Kalynda has to go handle a fax and said she would be bringing back a brisket sandwich, knish, and rice pudding.

I'll believe I'll have my coronary shortly thereafter.

Yum.

Your old music cannot sustain you through a life, not if you're someone who listens to music every day, at every opportunity. You need input, because pop music is about freshness, about Nelly Furtado and the maddeningly memorable fourth track on a first album by a band you saw on a late-night TV show. And no, that fourth track is not as good as anything on Pet Sounds or Blonde on Blonde or What's Going On, but when was the last time you played Pet Sounds? - Songbook by Nick Hornby

Cool

We already had Chinese.

Sesame Chicken
House LoMein
Hot & Sour Soup
Spring Rolls

You don't think there was much sodium in all that, do you?

We had Tracy's birthday dinner a few days early. We usually go to her favorite Southwest restaurant, but this year she opted for seafood.

There was a special thing with lobster tail, scallops and shrimp. (She had never eaten a lobster tail before.) We both opted for the special with a loaded baked potatoe. She had a garden salad and I had ceasar. We both had shrimp cocktail.

Damn! I'm stuffed. :lick:

I asked her about her lobster and she said, "It was pretty good, but it ain't worth the price." Next year I guess it's back to the Southwest place.

Wild boar chorizo, venison chop, and bison steak. No, seriously!

I took my sister out for a belated birthday dinner at The Wild Hare restaurant in Menlo Park.

We got game. (Get it?)

tanster, who of course, will be posting a review shortly....
