Nah, when I do it from Start, it tells me it's already running  Pain in the butt.
It's like my work computer that says "there is already one application of ADS running at this time. Please press to terminate this session or type "continue" to continue."
This is what it says when I first boot it up . It's not a program that automatically launches... so you tell me why it thinks it is already running. Sigh.
Anyway, I think that there's going to be a new release soon to fix all the huge bugs in this program. That's my predictuon anyway. |

It's possible that tray option is somehow disabled. Even if the sprocket is not there, you can check if the folding is actually running by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del and opening task manager. Than, you open Processes tab and on the list you'll find FahCore_ca.exe. If you click at the CPU Time column heading it should be the first one on top. |

I'm giving my home computer a try again.
I gave up at home because I wasn't getting anywhere, remember that? I don't know if it was just a Mac thing, or if it was their Mac client (very new when I downloaded) or because my computer was a little screwy.
I'm running 10.2something now on my computer, and they have an upgrade on their end too, so what the hey.

Right click on the gear in your tray, choose "configure". In the "advanced" tab you'll see client type choices: set the genome@home and here you go! |

He seemed to pull out of the GAH project and go exclusively with Folding. Here is his page, but we are not in the top 1000 teams there because our work was done on the old client. http://statsman.org/folding2stats/html/
