Here's the question, is anyone other than those who have signed up already reading this thread? I think it was Amy who suggested we start PMing and begging.
I'd suggest a contest, but I can't figure out how to do a contest that doesn't rely solely on the computing powers each person has access to. Anyone else have any ideas?

How about a contest to see who can get the most ACTIVE new members signed on to the team?
I am willing to put up an Amazon gift certificate. 
If somebody signs up at Genome on our team because you asked them to, and they send me an email stating that fact, that will count towards your referals.
At the end of October, whoever has referred the MOST active team members wins the prize.

You may have a lot more members than you think. I joined a couple of days ago, but my ancient computer hasn't crunched 30 items yet, so I'm not listed. I gather you're not listed until you upload. Makes sense to me -- why would they want to clutter their system with a bunch of zeros.
At least with me involved, the rest of you will always have someone to look down to.

I'm down in Kemah setting up a friend's system... looks like my own system back home has stalled and isn't connecting to EV1. I thought I had it set up for auto-dial... some kind of tech I am, eh?
