Lately I've been involved in crafting for charity, and its very rewarding. During one of my recent wild searches on the web, I stumbled across the
Hugs and Hope website. I got a bit teary while I was reading. It seems like a really easy way for
anyone to make a difference in a sick childs life.
It's a site for people to send a card, note, or small gift to sick children.
We have a great group of people at EA, and I wanted to share the site in case any of you wanted to participate. PLEASE read the site carefully. For obvious reasons there are rules to protect the privacy of the children and their families. People also must be diligent in checking the childrens health status so that no family receives a card or note after their child has passed.
If you want to make a difference, and can afford the price of a stamp, think about getting involved.
