I just visited a profile page and noticed that the person trusts herself and is trusted by herself.
Is this a bug or possible?

I remember reading here that it's possible, but I don't remember how. Something like, log out, click on trust your user name, then log in when it asks you to. Something like that, anyway.

I wonder if the people that do this realize that their own name appears on the profile page very clearly or if they think it's buried and maybe they dont' see it?

Yeah, log out, visit your profile, click on trust - then when you log back in you're on your own trust list. I do believe, it is a bug as it really isn't supposed to be possible.

I considered trusting myself, but sometimes I get kind of strange and I don't want folks thinking I trust strange people.
It would ruin my reputation on the site.

How can it be considered a "bug" to trust your own views and opinions?
Would anyone here truly be interested in hearing the opinions of someone who didn't believe in their own opinions?

Hmmmm.... is anyone really concerned?
I'd venture to say if it really was an issue, which I don't see how/why it would be, Epinions would at least try to do something to fix said "bug".

It's not an issue as far as I'm concerned....just didn't know that people were able to perform this task and wondered how. I don't plan on building up my trust list that way but that's my choice just as adding yourself is everyone else's choice. No skin off my nose
