mcturbot

Mcturbot, a genius unscathed by the wreckless NHs of his peers, is an Epinions mastermind who I can't recommend enough lately. My most popular epinion (thankfully) was a Developing an Epinions Personality editorial that gave mcturbot at least a few new fans, all the while progressing his epinions career so that many more may get the chance to read his excellent rants.

But I will attempt to keep this short, and just recommend him (no link). He is easily my favorite writer amongst heavy-hitters like Mike_Bracken, mangiotto, dougsanders and fez_monkey, and if you can keep an open mind and not automatically NH his work because it's 'off-topic', then I hope you enjoy all his awesome epinions as much as I did and continue to (all 108 of them).

Continue to romp?

Last time I checked, NH was the rating that Epinions recommended for off-topic reviews. Did they change the rating guidelines without telling anyone? That Epinions communication lately....???!!!

(( forum moderator sticks her head in and wags finger several times))

New and Noteworthy Forum exists to give newly discovered, good writers a place to get a nod....discussions on what the purpose of NH is belong elsewhere, thank you very much.

While we're at it, let's keep to a general guideline of new as in joined Epinions in the last couple of months or under read as in 1000 member reads or under. Not a hard and fast rule, but, goes with the spirit of the forum.

And I now close the thread....anyone who'd like to discuss when to NH (for the 99 billionth time ) is welcome to take the discussion over to the ED forum, as long as we aren't talking about whether to NH a specific person or not.

Andrea
