question Publishing Epinions Reviews Elsewhere

Hi wise EAers,

I haven't been around Epinions, and certainly not EA, in a long while, but I'm glad to see all you folks are still going strong!

I have a question that I'm sure you all know the answer to. Can I have my epinions reviews published in print? I can see in the site terms/user agreement that I can publish them on other sites online, but I don't see anything about putting them in print publications.

Sorry for the surely obvious question!

lernerj

Re Publishing Epinions Reviews Elsewhere

Eps no longer cares where you publish them, but if you publsih them elsewhere, they take you out of contention for any hats.

I'd be more concerned with how the print publication wanted to handle it. They generally aren't fond of having something already out there. YMMV.

Re Publishing Epinions Reviews Elsewhere

You are right--normally this wouldn't even be an issue because print sources wouldn't want previously published stuff; this one just happens to have said it's okay, so I thought I'd find out what the rules are! Thanks for answering!
