"Verre Cassé" - A poem by Rain | | I have just got done writing this only a few minutes ago. If some of you may not understand the language of French, Verre Cassé means "Glass Broken." Hope you enjoy. ^_^ Verre Cassé
I have a puzzle,
Written in a foggy black mirror.
The brightness of the life within it,
I may never fathom.
It’s emotions, it’s very feelings, I can’t even comprehend.
Deeply amongst it’s pure heart…
Her inner-glass breaks.
I see no sign of the hatred, the burning love, the fiery moon…
My knowledge controls my self-provoking actions,
My emotions,
Myself.
Oh though, deep within it,
An angel dances,
Controlled by puppet strings.
Her very white, purified soul locked away in her own self,
Never to be outwardly expressed.
Self-analyzation separates my ghostly soul from my sinful body,
The black eye breaks my crystal white glass within me.
Changing, creating, it repairs itself…
The spirals begin to spin once more,
Confusing the beauty of the mind.
Love, powder white, overrules the blackness showering the mirror,
The strings break,
The fog descends,
Her wings spread,
The stars shake…
The once locked-away angel overpowering the glass, penetrates it,
Showering the outer fields of life.
Her golden hair flies beneath her wings,
The broken glass…
Reflecting her image.
