I need a poetry partner(s). Alternatingly, one of us will post five random words. We each write a poem incorporating those five words. Let the board readers be the judge. I had a whole cachet of poetry. Then, last spring, my computer crashed. All that good stuff gone. I need it back!
Any takers?
I can be Seussian, Haikuian, Frostian, and sometimes inspired.
Such a narrow bed.
Our friends are down the hall.
Listening through the walls.
Lost is doing a Haiku contest. I must enter.
A boy walked on the beach with his father.
They found treasure they could not contain.
Here is a shell, a ladies' purse, a bleeding tooth,
a cork that came over from Span.
The boy is an old man now.
He lives alone, simple and plain.
But on a shelf in his room, is a shell,
a ladies purse, a bleeding tooth,
and a cork that came over from Spain.
BB,
Annie
