The air is hot and almost unbreathable under the bright Egyptian sun
Here I stand in a place thousands of years old
Anticipation enters my soul feeling like a ton
This feeling makes my blood run cold.
I slowly walk into the tomb as I desecrate this holy place
Thinking of all the years a mummy laid here
Seeing where grave robbers have been, such a waste
Thinking of all the memories within these walls, I start to feel fear.
Feeling as if I am being watched these feelings I must stop
The fear and terror must dissipate
These awful feelings I must not adopt
I will not let my feelings seal my fate.
Terror and horror within my soul dwells
There is no reason for this terror I possess
Trying to climb out of terror's deep dark well
Scared am I, I must confess.
I will try and take hold of my emotions
So the fear and terror will go away
I want to go outside and feel the warmth of the sun
To get away from this horrid place of decay. |
