We're in Dalton, Georgia,"CArpet capitol of the world". It's in such a beautiful part of the country, too - the hills and trees in northern Georgia are just wonderful. I could happily stay here for a week.

We drove right through Atlanta on 75, and suddenly, the two little ones let out huge gasps, and 'OMG!!!'s. I glanced over, but couldn't see what was causing this.

"Mama!" #4 squeaked,"Guess what we just saw?! It was the best part of our whole entire trip!"

Atlanta really is nice, and I would have loved to stay and look around, but I just could not imagine what had so enchanted the children.

#3 said,"Didn't you see it? You aren't teasing us? You really don't know? We saw the 'TBS' building- they even had a Cartoon Network sign on the building! Isn't that cool?"



The boys have had access to TV on this trip. I am thinking that is not a good thing.

We don't have cable at home. When we go on a trip and stay in a hotel, I swear TCN is like crack to my son.

He was sooooo disappointed in Canadian TV. Except he did get a giggle or two out of the all-French channel. Especially when they had a Listerine commercial on that he'd seen in the States in English.

LOL! When #1 was little, he would watch Sesame Street in the morning, in English. A babysitter let him watch a second time in the afternoon, which was in French. Apparently #1 spent the entire show correcting the people talking:

"That's not a chapeau, that's a hat!"

LOL. We DO have cable and I don't let the kids watch TCN.

Cindy, had I known you'd be that close, I'd have had you stop in and meet G's parents.
