| | And now, live from D.C., it's.... | | CJ!!!!!
Yes, he arrived, yes he had a guitar strapped to himself, and yes, the Horsemen were all thrilled.
First thing he wanted to do: cuddle with Poe.
He and #1 entertained the younger Horsemen- oops, boroughs - while we waited for pizza. During this time, they were discussing at great length what to do once they got to the clubs (bars). CJ was gloating all evening - "Wow- drinking, drugs, or beating soemone until his head explodes - waht to do first?" They were swaggering around being manly (never mind that just before leaving they both had to have another cuddle with Poe) and off they went.
Apparently, they walked up and down the main street here, saw all the bars ("...and the skanks outside the bars" says CJ) and then walked around for a while longer. Then, #1 had to go to work, CJ walked home, and announced that he just wanted to listen to music. These kids are just too sweet, have absolutely no intention of hanging out at clubs picking up girls, and I think they are sort of like the dog chasing cars - it never occurred to them that the car might stop,a nd they really didn't want to catch it in the first place.
CJ announced that "Canada sucks!" and spent the rest of his evening curled up on the couch with Poe, listening to Frank Zappa. Did I mention that I love CJ? |

| | Re And now, live from D.C., it's.... | | The idiot crossed a border with a guitar?
I traveled in Europe in 1981 with a guitar in a gig bag. That's like holding up a neon sign that says, "Customs officer, I would like a body cavity search please"
So much for the "Don't be an ugly American" speech I gave him before he left.
Anyway, what does this rocket scientist think is so different between where you live and where he lives? |

Rusty and Emily say hi, and can't wait to see The Hair.
Love you, miss you, BE NICE!
Mom again

Anyway, what does this rocket scientist think is so different between where you live and where he lives? | Simple:
1. D.C. has things to do which do not involve booze, drugs or escort services.
2. People in D.C. are friendlier than in Canada.
3. We live here, D.C. has no Horsemen. |

| | Re And now, live from D.C., it's.... | | 1) The ABC store is a mile away and Safeway.com delivers beer and wine. Two kids from CJ's school were shot up (I dunno, dozens of rounds) in a drug buy gone bad while he attended school there. Next to LA, this little patch of land is MS-13's biggest area of influence. We got plenty of escort services, booze, and drugs.
2) People in DC are friendlier than people in eastern Canada.
3) DC does too have Horsemen -- just like The Bible says. The DC 4 Horsemen are named Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Rice. Slowly, the last seal is opening... |

| | Re And now, live from D.C., it's.... | | I dunno... I loved DC.
I only had to move out because of the ...
FOUR DRIVE BY SHOOTINGS IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD IN A MONTH.
And that was just 8th street NE near Eastern Market.
But the people ARE very friendly there.
I am a little PO'd at progressive Canadians who constantly beleaguer me about what an evil country the US is whenever I visit.
But, he's my cousin, and, ironically, an American citizen, so, I put up with him.
Oh, my... I've really driven all over the place here, Cindy... I'm sorry.
NEED COFFEE.
