Oh dear! They just ruined a new set of sheets. I have been pricing nice high thread count sheets for a while, and I finally splurged on a set. The two collie girls ran upstairs chasing each other. No surprises there. They could be heard jumping on my bed. Again, nothing new. Then I heard growling, then a horrible RIPPP! 
I went upstairs to see two very guilty little faces, each holding one half of a formerly luxurious sheet. I guess I had that one coming for coveting sheets like those. But, I can't remember why I thought that ferrets would be a bad idea...

Um, I don't have ferrets. The collie girls were the ones who ripped the new sheets. Right straight down the middle of the flat sheet. At the time I found my new sheets, though, ferrets seemed like a darn fine idea.  |

Why can't you just sew the two pieces back together? Especially if it's the flat sheet.

But wouldn't it make an uncomfortable bump? It might be worth a try, though. and I still have the fitted sheet, we use more of those in the winter. |

Use a french seam like on jeans. And I wouldn't think you'd really notice much on a flat sheet.
Especially once you're asleep.

I was here and I had a hard time understanding, and I was even wearing my glasses. This morning, though, when they came running in and jumped in bed with me, they both sat down. At once. It really was remarkable. |

I had posted something about the sheets at Amazon, but then decided it might be a good idea to share with anybody else who might be foolish enough to avoid your adventures.
