~ Mostly because they are on every page and I see them everywhere I go. ~ Partly because they seem to mostly be a redundant list of stories related to attacks, deaths, explosions, killings, victims, massacres, .... etc.
~ I can get that info from any news site, or often in EA's Current Events. ~ ~ The list itself does not spark discussion (except of course for this thread  ) that probably would not happen anyway given our many members who do a great job of posting Current Events already.
~ Also, at least on EA we don't see multiple links to the same story (usually?!)
But, in the end it is because I'm an ostrich who enjoys playing and hiding on EA Quote:

I'm killing them because they keep throwing page errors. Katherine just happened to catch me after I'd already decided the rss errors were a pain.

cool - I don't like them either. That's what myway, cnn, etc. is for.
I do miss local weather by WeatherRoom though - they are more accurate for my area than the weather channel's website!! |
