And a really good tech guy taught me to put a dash inside a true smilie so that someone's email didn't render it as a cartoon. That's hard to break here, but it ends up looking like this: :-) |

| | Re Smilies are case sensitive? | | I always used the dashes in email before I did much on the 'net. It was a hard habit to break here (and other places) to do smilies without the dash so it would properly render as the cartoon.
