| | Just an intro post | | Hi all,
I'm Karl, currently residing in Michigan and originally from England, UK.
I'm basically here in a 'student' fashion, having nabbed a couple of Amy's goodies from vb.org.
Great stuff, Amy! |

| | BTW,
When I came here as a guest only - i was able to view the forum, thread and posts (contents) of 'Amy's hideaway'. Now, as a member - I can see the hideaway exists, and can see the threads fine, but clicking on a thread to read the posts turns me away claiming I don't have the rights to view. Is it meant to be this way? Should I just come here as aguest or is it an error? |

Some of us had that problem with the last upgrade, I'm sure Amy will have you straightened out in a jiffy. Meanwhile, browse the other boards and chime in wherever you want, we're a fun bunch around here

I'm not sure whether Amy would consider me a friend jsut yet, my first comment was a complaint LOL, but I am impressed with her technical expertise and such. |

| | Thank you all, thank you, thank you!
I have to thank my mom, and my dad too, also my neighbour and his dog. While i'm on it, i have a distant relative called Bernard I'd like to thank for all the staying out the way she's done, and also the guy who invented the microphone allowing me to seem much louder and obnoxious than i am.

| | Hi Karl, and welcome! And I agree- do not piss Amy off. She might start rearranging the furniture again!
My MIL lived in Birmingham for years before moving back to London with the rest of the family. Birmingham is much nicer than its reputation makes it out to be. |

| | Aye, it's all good.
I've no intention of upsetting anyone here, i hope to be resurrected as a snug B-cup bra, not a pair of skidmarked thongs that an oversized woman has been wearing in efforts at impressing some young buck. So, the less hassle i cause, the better!
Anyway, I'm heavily addicted to forums, I used to admin my own ircd and was a 'chanop' on the aol/icq irc servers too. I used to run my own little few bots that i loaned out. I wish google ads had a way of making bots speak ads back in those days.... that would've earned me a tonne!!! 10 rooms per bot, usually between 10 & 20 people at any given time in any of the 10 rooms. Yeah, I'd be stinking rich!
I've only just grabbed vbulletin software recently so am still learning the tricks of the trade, and you (Amy's) hacks just kept popping up everywhere!

| | Hi there!
Birmingham, eh? I used to live in one of the western suburbs of Detroit but I've moved out to our state capital now.
For a few minutes I thought you might be a friend of mine who is also named Karl and is from Michigan and the UK, but last I checked, he was still in Lansing and he writes/talks differently than you do.
But welcome!
