I tried to search "vis a vis" which didn't work 'cause the words were too short. So then I tried "regarding," which I am sure one of us must have used at some point or another, and the search still didn't work...

I tried "vis*", but we've used to many words like visit and vista for that to be a help.
But the search did work, so....

OK, I just searched for "regarding" (which I used in the first post here, above) and it told me nothing found...

Yep, you can't search for three letter words as-is. However, you can put a * at the end of it and search that.

common words like more and some, etc. are filtered out of the search. regarding is probably one of those words.

Pippa already found it, and I'm not sure what trick she used, but here's mine: Google, Current Site. I use the Google Taskbar, so all I have to do is go to the site I'm searching, type the search term in the Google box, hit the funny looking "search current site" button, and it finds things. And the 3 letter rule doesn't apply.
