Here we go folks!!!! Just a friendly reminder to put on your ped, record your miles, and walk, walk, walk!!!!!
Our journey today starts in Sweet Home, Oregon , where we'll leave behind Deb's Cherry Garcia. Here's Sweet Home Mayor Tim McQueary with a few words: 
"Ladies, it's been nice to have some of you here for the last year and 12 days, but, well, it's time to move on. The deer are becoming alarmed at the hullaballoo that's going on at Deb's house, and frankly, the grocery store can't stock enough ice cream and gelato to keep you happy.
Have a nice walk! Oh, and here's a key to the city, too."  Gee thanks, Tim.
Well, Sweet Home is gorgeous, no doubt, (here's a peek and I think I'm moving!)... 
...but we need to get rolling. Remember to send your Weds 11/13 miles or steps to me by noon tomorrow and I'll try to figure out where the heck we've gotten to!!!

The forecast also says Sweet Home is supposed to get a mix of clouds and sun tomorrow, after we leave. Figures.

Thank God I'm not being relied on for directions! Takes all the pressure off.
So, get this, I thought I was going to have to rely on Naomi to carry me today, when two things happened:
1) My back which was horrible this morning, suddenly got much better during a mid-day meeting 
2) I had a 4 hour long disaster at work which required me to run around like a chicken with my head cut off.
My ped reads 10,662 at 5:06PM

Oh, you don't want me to carry you. I had to carry another woman on my back in an ROTC competition some years ago. After about five steps, I felt myself tilting forward just a tad much and we both ended up with faces full of dirt. I ended up having to drag her across the finish line.

| Any sunshine between now and the end of June is going to be liquid. I've lived here long enough to know, And the picture was taken during summer last year - I think it was between 10:27 and 3:12 on August 14. 
So far, 8,257 steps - it's surprising how fast they add up!!

I bought a ped today! No more guessing - well, not after I figure out how to set it. Tomorrow, either I'll have an exact measurement, or else I'll have balanced my checkbook, whichever this thing does best.

Hey!
New ped owners!
Don't forget to review your ped, if you still do the Eps thing. My ped Epinion started off very slow, but gathered steam. It makes me happy now.
(Just chatting as I'm walking toward Disney World. Don't move me off to the pennies forum  )

Sorry for the late report, guys...hope you didn't sit around the campfire waiting for me this a.m.!!!
We ended up yesterday about 10 miles north of Eugene, Oregon on Interstate 5 heading south after walking nearly 50 miles between us. We're missing some data , so anyone who wants to bug AMY, DEB, ANGI, CINDY, or MARGARET can do so. I'll add in their Wednesday miles tomorrow.
So what's to eat around here? Well, if you are into fish, I hear the salmon's good. 
Virtual salmon sounds better than the leftover spaghetti we're having tonite. (again.)
Keep on stepping gals....and if there is something on I-5 you'd like to point out, feel free! We're going to be on it for a while.
