Brrrrrrrring on the good stuff...H&F 1/21

BRRRRR

It's going to be -13 tomorrow night...nice and crisp when I go out in the morning!

Good thing I have my resistance bands and girly weights to play with inside!

Warm up with something good for you (green tea, perhaps?) and get up and MOVE! (And no, Jeff, marching to the kitchen for a PB&J sandwich does NOT count. )

Have a great Tuesday!

Lynn

It's been down to -25 for several nights in the last week. We got a weather advisory last night/this morning for wind chill conditions. I'm more than ready for some warmth up here!

I had oatmeal, but it was the pre-packaged kind--does that count? With dried strawberries added?

My good stuff--I'm getting better about having my servings of fruit. Our housemate hates most fruit so we'd gotten out of the habit of eating it. Lately my husband and I have been going out of our way to re-introduce fruit into our diet. After all, not only is it good for us, but we love it! Bananas on cereal, mandarin orange slices with steamed squash and a little maple syrup, apple pie, homemade blood orange syrup to put on... well... just about anything, dried strawberries in oatmeal...

I did resistance bands this morning and walked two miles. I forgot my ear muffs on the second mile and my ears just about fell off.

I just endured a very grueling dance class. Not only was it intense, but we ran 15 minutes long. I was about to collapse.

Hey Weight Watchers people! How many activity points would an hour and fifteen minutes of intense dancing get you???

Cindy

A hell of a lot.

But you can only save up a certain number (5???). I'd need to get out my books and they are at home.

Lynn
who thinks maybe she should investigate tap, if nothing else, for the humor factor

Actually, activity points depend on intensity and your weight. I would never ask a woman her weight, but having met you, I would calculate that an hour and 15 minutes of intense dancing would be good fro about 6 activity points.

Cindy - You go with your bad self. Now shake your hips and you'll be belly dancing!

I didn't get many activity points last night. My good stuff was in the mental health category. Can I get points for intense thinking?
